Professional Accomplishments:

Len Berglund is an accomplished professional with more than 17 years of experience in security management. He possesses strong policy and procedures development, personnel training, contract negotiation abilities and extensive client liaison experience.  He gained notable recognition for his training accomplishments in Management, Leadership, Counterintelligence Operations, FBI Hostage Negotiations, Criminal Investigations and Correctional Administration.  Len is also a successful entrepreneur as the owner of a thriving custom picture framing business in Dublin, Ohio.

His previous work experience includes Branch Manager and District Manager for a national contract security company. For 13 consecutive years, his district grew in sales and profitability by 20% per year.  His was one of only two districts out of 60 in the company to exceed the annual budget in profits every year.  He received many accolades and awards from the company for safety, budget achievement, sales, cash management as well as the highest scores on annual client satisfaction surveys. Len’s intuitiveness for security led him to develop a business blockwatch program for Downtown Columbus Ohio office buildings.

Len was a Commissioned Officer in the Military Police Corps and Military Intelligence for 12 years while serving in various command and staff positions stationed in the United States, Europe and the Far East attaining the rank of Major.  His military experience includes the positions of Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, Personnel Officer, Officer in Charge of M P Investigations, Counterintelligence Officer, Company Commander (twice), and Installation Commander.  Other duties included physical and personnel security, VIP security, training, supply/logistics, Provost Marshal, highly classified materials security, investigations, operations, counterintelligence plans/operations and he held a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.   In July 2008, Len was appointed as the Director of our Columbus office and is a welcome addition to the company.
