Professional Accomplishments:
Karl Angelo is a true entrepreneur whose keen business saavy provided insight into first hand assistance of building a multi-million dollar corporation based in St. Petersburg, Florida. During this venture Karl’s primary duties consisted of hiring, and training staff. He used his expertise in the Event services industry to cultivate day to day activities including the coordination of event days in excess of five hundred events a year for various entities including Major League Baseball (Tampa Bay Devil Rays, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox and the Cincinnati Reds) the National Hockey League (Tampa Bay Lightning) and the Arena Football League (Tampa Bay Storm) as well as concerts and events at venues as diverse as Tropicana Field, Florida International Museum, the Sundome at the University of South Florida, Tampa Convention Center and Lowry Park Zoo.
One of his most notable contribution consisted of managing, planning and deployment of staff for the 1999 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championships. Karl also assisted in coordination with Interpol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation the transportation from Russia of the “Treasures of the Czars” to the United States. Karl’s well rounded experience presented the opportunity to work along with the Secret Service for a “Town Meeting” with President Clinton at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and the 1996 Vice Presidential Debate at the Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg. Under the banner of Venue Management, Karl was the point person for the daily briefing and debriefing of staff under Mike Edwards from Georgia Tech at the AquaticCenter for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2006 Karl joined the Tenable team with a wealth of experience.
In 2010 Karl relocated from Cincinnati, Ohio to our Kentucky office location to utilize his vast expertise in our Kentucky office as Director of Operations. Karl will strengthen the Tenable name, brand and quality of services in the Kentucky region.
