Job Description:
This position is being established for Houston, Texas and the surrounding Metropolitan area. The Client Relations Specialist (CRS) is an individual sales contributor responsible for successfully building a sales territory. They are expected to assist the company in increasing market share in its respective territories by developing new business contacts and nurturing current or known business contacts through extensive telephonic and personal contacts and active participation in trade related events. Below is a list of duties that will entail the majority of responsibilities that the Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for completing.
 
Duties include:
• Interact with clients to ensure service is above satisfaction; both via telephone and in-person visits • Maintain contact with clients through initiating meetings at their place of business • Completes RFQ, RFP, and bid proposals • Creates and conducts proposal presentations • Assists in the creation of all marketing materials and campaigns • Will meet and interview prospective marketing and related companies such as print, publishing, software, etc. • Complete required databases and spreadsheets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis • Meets or exceeds an aggressive sales target as established by the company • Demonstrates a willingness to call on new customers and open doors for potential relationships. • Capitalizes on industry knowledge and contacts to uncover new business opportunities. • Develops and maintains detailed and computerized list of new prospects. • Analyzes existing and prospective customer list and builds a solid pipeline of prospects. • Develops a territory plan and sales strategy that leads to new accounts. • Conducts research on market segment and is able to articulate market conditions by identifying and communicating factors that will change the business of current and future clients. • Calls on and conducts discovery interviews with prospective clients at the appropriate level of decision making. • Able to network within the industry and demonstrates an understanding of buyer behavioral styles. • Develops a clear understanding of the competitor’s strategy and executes an appropriate counter strategy designed to achieve an advantageous position. • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements plus maintains comprehensive service and industry knowledge. • Maintains a customer service oriented approach in providing a consultative service to clients and prospects alike. • Ensures that customers receive regular telephone communications and routine follow up meetings that will allow CRS to review professional relationship • Assist in the recommendation and creation of future marketing design concepts and material • Collaborates and works cooperatively with colleagues, business partners and prospects to reach beneficial solutions. • Support company sales through leads and/or community/civic contacts and activities

Additional Salary Information: Commission schedule offered
 
Requirements:
 Persons applying should be self starting, energetic, motivated and a dedicated team player with experience and willingness to upstart this market’s sales initiatives. Ideal candidates should possess an Associates or Bachelors Degree in a related field plus three years of related security industry sales experience. Law Enforcement and/or Military experience is a plus. All applicants must be 21 years of age, be free of criminal convictions and possess a clean driving record, submit to mandatory pre-hire drug screening and be able to learn advanced security curriculum. The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to travel.
