123 Hours + Additional 20 Hours for Firearms Certification
NOTE: All scheduled classes are subject to an enrollment of 8 students
An Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission approved course. Commonly referred to as the "120" course, this seven week course of instruction provides the individual with base knowledge and skills to become a security officer. A partial list of the classes in this course include: Role of Private Security; Overview of the Legal System; Ethics & Professionalism: Criminal Law; Laws of Arrest; Search & Seizure; Public Relations; Crisis Situations; Subject Control Techniques; Dealing w/ Persons w/ Developmental Disabilities; Cultural Sensitivity; Report Writing; Physical Security; First Aid/CPR; Retail Security; Personnel Security; Crime Prevention; Fire Safety; Patrol Techniques; Crowd Control; ICS; and NIMS. Each student will receive an Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission certificate upon successful completion of the Academy and successfully passing a State examination.

Day & Evening Academies - 7/21/14 / Weekend Academy - 7/26/14
Evening: M-T-W-TR 1700 - 1900
Weekend: SAT & SUN 0800 - 1700
